This is the part where you find out a bit about what Tony does.
Tony has just finished his new (free) download CD entitled BALDILOCKS. He's taking a break from gigging to write a new set to accompany this excellent collection.
Normal service will be resumed in October
Tony has written various books and plays, including the Zeegpaw books for children, a travel journal of America when he was Sherlock Holmes' secretary (THE CASE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES SECRETARY) and a play entitled THE MAN WHO THOUGHT HE WAS GEORGE FORMBY which featured the first appearance of a young comedian called Robin Ince.
The instruments Tony plays often vary, but at present the main guitars that he uses are an Ibanez EW20 electro/acoustic which stayed in tune during its first gig when he dropped it.
On BALDILOCKS he used a range of guitars as well as playing synth.
Tony used to perform with sketch comedy group MY BIG BOTTOM and appeared at the Variety Performer of the Year Show at the Hackney Empire.
My Big Bottom is now the umbrella name for evenings where Tony is the headline act.

NEWS
The die is cast and the decisions have been made. The next album will be the last album, and the single that is coming out in October will be the last single for now. It's a mixture of things and I'd like to share them with whoever might be reading this. Firstly, after eight or nine years of continuous song writing I feel I need a long break. Secondly, while I'm so happy with what I'm producing, it feels as though the well is starting to dry. The last reason is that I'm working on another venture, and that is an online wine magazine entitled Winefullness. To do this justice, I need to devote all my energies. I'm not saying never, I'm saying not for now.
Let's look at the present. WHEN I RETIRE is half way through it's release and it's my most listened to song in two and a half years. It's built on I'M DEAD SO WHAT! which rally took me by suprise with the response it received and I'd like to thank all those of you who've listened.
Next month is my latest album. It is entitled APATHY MADE A MAN OF ME and I think it is the best thing I've yet done. It's got a sad feel overlapping the satire and humour and I hope that you'll enjoy listening to it. If I didn't think it was any good, I'd probably carry on until I found a high I could go out on.
There's going to be a competition with three questions about tracks on the album and I'll be picking one of the correct answers and they will receive a £50 note. Who says I don't know how to make an exit. Stick around though because I'm sure I'll be drawing your attention to some of the old stuff!
COMEDY MUSIC NEWS
2016 sees more releases on PCR.
Tony's Comedy Music News.
ACNE is out at the moment. It's a single from the forthcoming album and completes the trilogy of parody
DIRTY LITTLE WORDS & ALL IN THE MIND is still out there and receiving listens. A big thank you for that.
THE HARD AND THE SOFT is also pulling in the listens and the songs have proved to be popular when played live.
THE THIRD DOWNLOAD CD in the silly satire trilogy is out on March 17th. Then it's a break, work on serious songs, another break and a new album towards the end of the year.
Due to popular demand (being asked by one person in passing) there will be a download cd collection of some singles that have been released as well as some extra tracks I've been keeping up my sleeve. It's your chance to catch up on what you've missed so far.
A BRIEF (THANKFULLY) BIOGRAPHY
Tony has been on the comedy circuit (off and on) for nearly 25 year. Firstly, as part of the comedy sketch group, MY BIG BOTTOM. Then as part of a double act, then finally for the last four/five years as a solo musical comedian.
His lively (manic) style has garnered praise from promoters, fellow comedians and audiences all over the country. Not one to be pidgeon-holed; his set includes all manner of styles and he is proud to state that he can adapt to all situations (except in a war zone).
He has also written books; including the ZEEGPAW children's novels and a diary of his time touring the USA as the Secretary to Sherlock Holmes.
His favoured guitar for performing is an Ibanez (because it stays in tune when dropped), but when recording he will use a range of instruments.
